Fichtelgebirge
The Fichtelgebirge was very early named, wandering clannish webt through the land and the quarrying from
stones and bronze began very early.
The population were started in the 10. Century. The first settlers where from the bavaria Oberpfalz.
From the year 1061 the first ducumentary tradition over the alienation from Heinrich the fifth and his
Ministerial Otnant from Eschenau, who the room between Waldershof, Ebnath and Fichtelberg owned.
Between the years 1100 and 1190 accrued some settlements with the endsyllable –green and –reuth (=stub).
Examples for that are: Grün, Kühlgrün, Pullenreuth and Lorenzreuth. In the year 1135 was the Egerland the
first time documentary named.
